2011 Staff Retreat
Our annual staff retreat was a lot of fun and very productive. On friday night, we went to the Texas Star Dinner Theater. It is a wild west murder mystery and you guess who you think committed the murder. Each table put their heads together and made their best guess. We had two different tables and the staff at one of the tables guessed correctly. We got tee-shirts that said "I Solved the Mystery". On Saturday morning we had a meeting. Our speaker for our meeting was Gordon Jago, Executive Director of the Dallas Cup. Speaking on teamwork, he told us how it can be valuable in our profession as well as his. He has an impressive biography, spending over 50 years in professional soccer as a player, manager, coach and administrator. Her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, bestowed upon him the honor of Member of the Order of the British Empire for his services promoting international youth soccer on October 11, 2006.

Dental Hygiene Luncheon
We had a great time at our 2011 Dental Hygiene Luncheon. There were lots of great prizes given away such as pedicure and manicure gift card, restaurant gift cards, Bath & Body gift sets, Legoland Discovery Center tickets and movie passes. The luncheon was held at Papacita's Mexican Restaurant and there were cupcake tower centerpieces from Bake Cupcakes.

The doctors and staff had a fun and productive time on their annual staff retreat in August. We held our meeting at the Gaylord Texan and decided we are going to do our part to keep our planet green. We, as a staff, are no longer using styrofoam cups for our beverages. We have our own personalized cups so we can keep our skies blue and our air clean!
